Know what is being summarised
Maneuver Summary compares the selected turns by boat. It groups Tacks, Gybes, Round ups, Bear aways and Reach to downwind, showing the median or average for each chosen measure.
Use Maneuvers List first when a summary result is surprising. The summary is a comparison of events, not a guarantee that each boat sailed the same number or quality of manoeuvres.
Choose a useful summary
Set Values to Median or Average. Median is the default. It gives a representative middle event; Average reflects the full spread, including unusually costly events.
Use one measure at a time to establish the pattern, then open the List or the related Track and Graph views for the actual manoeuvres behind it.
Adjust presentation without changing results
Settings and A− / A+ control summary presentation. They do not change detection thresholds, the selected boats, or the event selection. A screenshot exports the visible summary; web and desktop also show HTML.
